Governance
There are three facilitating partners for the GFP who are all members of a Catalytic Group that manages the process. The Catalytic Group reports to and is overseen by a Reference Group. IIED plays a support role to the Catalytic and Reference Groups.

Catalytic Group
Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) will be facilitating some in-country processes, for example Guatemala building on its National Forest Programme facility work.
The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) will be facilitating some in-country processes for example Ghana building on its in-country work.
The World Bank will be funding the project and will remain a member of the catalytic group.
Advisor
The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) supported the start up for an in-country process in Mozambique. It will be leading on communications, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance for the initiative overall and providing support to each country team on these issues.
